Taking you through to 2009

4 Jan 2009

Wow, thank god thats out the way for another year I was a little worried as the ticket sales started very slowly but in the end we ended up with well over 2,400 admissions and we got them all in before midnight. Crazy.

I am going to be starting a monthly blog and I would love to here your feed back and may be some ideas on what you would like to see or hear in the venue over the next year. And also some acts that you think would go down well.

Next month we have the *World Famous Burlesque Girls *doing a full Valentines weekend show for us. If you have not seen the show before in Paris: The City of Love, you are in for a show and a half. February the 13th and the 14th.

Who came to see us in 08.

Wiley came and wore his Rolex.
Buster Rymes hit the Ice House stage.
We held our 2nd Birthday Party with BRMB.
We held our Galaxy and Heart FM Friday nights over the year.
Jay Sean launched his new album at Oceana
The cast and crew of Hollyoaks popped in before a charity footy match.
We held the launch of the new Ford KA.
We held the National Final of King of the Decks sponsored by Pioneer.
We said hello to East 17 when they rocked the house
We held our first under 18's night: 2000 kids cant be wrong (next date February the 16th: see UKCC).
Tim Westwood came, saw and conquered.
N'Dubz played live in Ice House.
Trevor Nelson brought the MTV party house down.
Signature, Britains Got Talent finalists also popped in for a dance.

Any hooo

Thanks for your time ladies and gents. Heres to 09.

Yours Zoltan Oceana G.M.

  • Managers appology *

It has been brought to my attention that we advertised that Janaury passes would be available and given out on NYE. We were unable to meet this dead line due to the printers' unable to deliver them, I have now re-done the print to cover January - February - March, if you would like a pass please drop me an email and we will mail them out to you at our expences.

We also advertised a pirate competition that never took place due to the sheer volume of people that turned up at pretty much the same time, my focus was getting every one in before midnight, then my focus was to make sure that every one got there drinks and did not have to wait too long, appologies for this, We will be holding a fancy dress competition or an online competition (for those of you that took pictures) in the not to distant future.

Appologies
