Terms and Conditions of Membership of Luminar Night Clubs
These Terms and Conditions (the “Conditions”) apply with effect from 21st September 2008, to members of various nightclubs that owned or operated whether directly or indirectly by Luminar Leisure Limited (“Luminar”).
Members
Membership is open to any person who fulfils the necessary criteria and who pays the relevant membership fee applicable from time to time (a “Member” or “you”). Acceptance for membership and maintenance as a member will always be subject to Luminar’s continued approval. Accordingly Luminar reserves the right to accept, reject or terminate any member’s membership without liability.
Luminar reserve the right to change these Conditions and membership prices from time to time and any such changes will be notified to members at least 28 days prior to the change by posting the new prices on the Luminar website located at: www.ukcn.com (the “Website”).
Member's Access
Every Member will receive a membership card which must be shown to utilise the offers applicable to their category of membership. Members applying for a replacement card will be subject to an administration fee. Membership personal and is strictly non-transferable to any other person.
Membership Benefits
There are three categories of memberships as follows: Silver; Gold; and Platinum.

Silver Membership
• Silver Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable and are valid for twelve (12) months from date of purchase subject to the terms of these Conditions
Gold Membership
• Gold memberships are non-transferable;
Platinum Membership
• Platinum memberships are non-transferable
Changing Membership Category
You may change your membership category by contacting Luminar Customer Services on 01908 544100.
Membership Fees and Payments
All Gold and Platinum memberships must be paid monthly in advance by Direct Debit. A Direct Debit mandate is valid for all membership types and does not require amending when changing membership type.
If you make any change your bank account you must notify us of any such change and contact your bank to ensure that they have terminated any payments to us. All such notification or contact must be in writing. Luminar shall not be liable to you in any way if you fail to take these steps. From one bank/branch to another, immediate notification must be given to Luminar Leisure.
Should you fail to make any payment Luminar shall have the right to suspend or terminate your membership.
Cancelling Your Membership
If at any point you wish to cancel or terminate your membership, you must contact Luminar Customer Services on 01908 544100 and give one month’s notice.
Membership Rules
In order to maintain a high standard of facilities within a safe leisure environment and to ensure everyone's enjoyment, please read and observe the following membership rules:
1. Members must adhere to the rules and policies (“Policies”) from time to time of the relevant Luminar Club. These Policies include such matters as door admission, age restrictions and dress codes and in the event of any conflict between these Conditions and the Policies the latter shall prevail.
2. Luminar reserves the right to terminate any membership for breach of the Policies, or for any conduct which, in Luminar’s opinion, damages the character or interests of the club or its business or is otherwise offensive to other members or any employee or agent of Luminar.
3. Members should advise Luminar staff of any disability they may have that might affect the use or enjoyment of the club or its other customers.
4. The Management of any club reserve the right to refuse entry to their venue at any time and for any reason.
5. Members’ behaviour in the club must not constitute a security or safety hazard to themselves or others in the club.
6. Management may expel from the club, any person (including members) who does not adhere to the Policies and whose conduct, demeanour, or appearance is deemed inappropriate.
7. Any guest (including members) expelled from the club may be subject to refusal of entry to the club in the future at Management’s discretion.
8. Absolute discretion is retained by Luminar Leisure to reject any application or renewal of membership without ascribing any reason for doing so.
9. Luminar may at any time withdraw all or any part of the club facilities including VIP areas for any period or periods where and whenever they deem it necessary whether for repair, maintenance, alteration, safety reasons, alternative use or otherwise.
